What is KundaLini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is considered one of the most comprehensive yoga traditions, combining meditation, mantra, physical exercises and breathing techniques. "Kundalini" literally means "the curl of the lock of hair of the beloved." This poetic metaphor alludes to the flow of energy and consciousness that exists within each of us.

When Wah teaches Kundalini Yoga she makes this ancient practice relevant and accessible while always respecting the lineage and traditions in which it came from. With lively world music, mantras, pranayama (breath work), kriya (movement) and meditation you will have the opportunity to experience all that the ancient practice of yoga has to offer. Wah believes that we grow when we are challenged, so come willing to work and experience your full potential!

Actually, Kundalini Yoga means awareness. Awareness is a finite relationship with infinity . . . This dormant energy is in you. This awareness is sleeping so you only experience (a limited part of) your full capacity. When it can be extended to Infinity, you remain You! In that state, nothing is lacking. This is the basic human structure, the framework through which we have to function.
