Kundalini Dance

Wah is the creative force behind Kundalini Dance. Wah spent most of her childhood in India where she was exposed to the lively beats and rhythms of Indian music. Wah found her love for dance when learning the traditions of Bhangra dance throughout her school years. During the summers when home in Los Angeles she would fill her days with all kinds of dance classes, always finding a way to move and groove! Wah's love for dance crept into her yoga classes and eventually Kundalini Dance was born. Her passion for music from around the world will be reflected in her Kundalini Dance classes.

Yogi Bhajan often incorporated dance in his Kundalini Yoga classes and tought us that dance was also great for the glandular system, nervous system, circulation, brain hemisphere balance and overall health! Kundalini dance has some basic structure to help students get comfortable but untimely leads the class to a place of free movement. It can also be interactive and playful making it a joyful connected community experience. Whether you need to shake off stress or need a reminder not to take life too seriously, Kundalini Dance is sure to leave you feeling joyful and sweaty!

Dance, when you’re broken open. Dance, if you’ve torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of the fighting. Dance in your blood. Dance when you’re perfectly free.
